The LIGHT Group Las Vegas

"Leading hospitality development and management company, The Light Group, announced its plans to open four innovative hospitality venues at the ARIA Resort & Casino located at the new City Center complex on the Las Vegas Strip. Light Group's new venues are designed to match City Center's unparalleled luxury and opulence, and will include a nightclub, a lounge, a restaurant and a pool lounge."

I am very excited to be a part of the team that works for this company. Currently as I have written in the past, I work a at THE BANK Nightclub inside Bellagio. I am at the front door there many nights a week, checking in the ladies at our Ladies VIP line. It'd a rough job, but someone has to do it! Working there has been a fun experience and being part of that aspect of the landscape has been very interesting. Even though I am new to the nightclub scene, in terms of working for it, I started back in December of '08 there and continued to work in high-end dining aspect of the Las Vegas service industry as well. Now with the creation of the new venue's at City Center, I am going to be part of the team that opens up UNION Steakhouse on the main casino floor of the ARIA resort.

"First in the list is Light Group's Union Restaurant & Lounge, serving a creative menu that combines contemporary American cuisine and exclusive dishes created by Chef Brian Massie. Union's unique interiors, by renowned designer Adam Tihany, will allow guests to enjoy a meal within a hip and open layout. A series of strategically positioned floor-to-ceiling architectural "trees", bathed in natural tones, give the open space a greater sense of seclusion and intimacy."

"Second is the Deuce Lounge. Located off the main casino floor, the Deuce Lounge fuses elements of an upscale lounge with high-limit gaming, creating an intimate nightlife experience. Designed by Franklin Studios, the space will invite guests to try their luck on the numerous blackjack tables around the room while enjoying cocktails and beverages in an alternative gambling scene The lounge also will feature a number of HD flat screen TVs for guests to watch evening sporting events while enjoying hors d'oeuvres from Union's kitchen."

And.. "Created to mirror the success of the existing Light Group venues, Haze Nightclub will offer partygoers a cutting-edge space designed by award-winning interior design firm, ICRAVE. The new Las Vegas nightclub will feature the latest in visual technology such as interactive projection screens and a unique two-story wall of lights coupled with a state of the art sound system exclusively designed by John Lyons Systems."

It's a pretty exciting venture and one that will help shape the future of the party and dining scene on Las Vegas. More to come on all of this.. See you on the next post!
